Explosion-Proof Engineering & Safety

The OMK-Ex05A is built to contain internal ignition and prevent heat transfer to the surrounding hazardous atmosphere, satisfying the Ex db IIB T4 GB requirements.

  • Flameproof Enclosure: The casing is cast from high-strength ADC12 die-cast aluminum, designed to withstand the pressure of an internal explosion without allowing the flame to propagate to the outside.

  • Surface Treatment: After precision casting, the housing undergoes artificial aging and shot-blasting, followed by a thick thermo-sprayed plastic coating (>0.2mm) that withstands temperatures above 150°C and resists chemical degradation.

  • Rigorous Testing: Every unit must undergo a mandatory high-voltage dielectric test (1500V/1min for 110V/220V; 1800V/1min for 380V) and a submersion pressure test (0.2 MPa air pressure) to ensure the integrity of the enclosure and cable seals.

  • Precision Gearbox: All internal reduction gears are cut from high-grade quenched and tempered steel. The gears are held in place by P6-grade deep-groove ball bearings (EMQ/ZV2 standard), ensuring minimal vibration and silent operation.

  • Sealing & Lubrication: The unit is permanently lubricated with imported Mobil grease and protected by dual-lipped skeleton TC oil seals from Oubaisi (Germany), preventing any leakage of grease or ingress of contaminants.

  • Active Contact Feedback: The OMK-Ex05A is designed for clear status monitoring. It provides an active (powered) electrical signal indicating the fully open and fully closed positions, allowing control systems to instantly verify valve state.
